Challenge - Virbac is an international Veterinary Supply Company. For the new facilities they required storage for samples of their products.

Although the 3 rooms reasonably small the internal temperature and humidity conditions varied greatly.

Room 1 - 25ºC plus or minus 2ºC

60% Relative humidity plus or minus 5%

Room 2 - 30ºC plus or minus 2ºC

65% Relative humidity plus or minus 5%

Room 3 - 40ºC plus or minus 2ºC

75% Relative humidity plus or minus 5%

Solution - The design included a 14kW air cooled Aermec Chiller, 3 Grimwood wall mounted heaters, 3 Aermec chilled water fan coil units and 3 Condaire steam humidifiers.

The web based bacnet control system modulates the chilled water for the coils, heating and humidity to maintain the nominated conditions.

Being web based – anyone with the appropriate access can check and modify the system. With the parent company based in France, this certainly has it's advantages.
